Hi Jeff, looks like you are off to a good start with your AM build. You just need some adjusting/tweaking here and there.(shoulder Bells and shins) but that's no biggie. Once you get the 1 inch black elastic strap that wraps around the inside of the bicep it will help hold the shoulder bells in place..

As for your Shins, I hate to tell you but you have them on the wrong leg. It is a common mistake because of the molded cover strip that is on the back, it is actually on the wrong side, which gives the builder the wrong impression of which leg it should be on.

What I did was cut off the strip and attach it to the outer back part of the shin. This way the cover strip faces the proper way (to the inside of the legs). Also, the bottom return edge of the ankle area is not needed, the original armor did not have that, it is just left over from the thermoforming of shins. Plus it will help the shin to fit better.

This one goes there, that one goes there? xD

  2. hey FISD long time no post, just got finished moving from FL to TX and it was a long and painful process. Anyway, Im getting closer to finishing my Am build and would love some advice regarding any aspects of it. Ill attatch some pics. (also if this is in the wrong section forgive me i havent been on here in a while, and the spelling, its early xD)

  3. Hey everyone, I'm playing around with modding my hasbro and thought I'd share the work so far. Bear in mind its the first time I've ever tried something like this, in addition to the first time I've been trusted to use power tools by myself ;). Obviously all the parts I've worked on need to be sanded and smoothed over, I also just realized its short one vent hole towards the front. Any other advice as always is thouroughly appreciated team!

  4. heyyyy FISD (hopefully this is in the right spot xD) my old man and me are working on building a T21 using the guide generously provided by Panda Trooper! Unfortunately I didn't think to take pictures until after we started cutting. All we did was print out his template on a bunch of separate pieces of printer paper and tape them together. Then we cut that out and traced that with a sharpie on to freezer paper. Took that and traced it onto the wood and cut it out with a jigsaw. It is currently in the process of drying the side stock extensions.
