The using TrooperMasters great strapping guide I have started fixing snap plates to the Kidney, I will then test fit using tape to ensure remaining plates allow the armour to sit right before gluing
And glued one on the butt cod
I would like to ask a question. is the glue your using is E6000 on this pictures?

But my height might be a problem ... I'm 1.65m, 60kg (5'5", 132 lbs).
Do you think I would make a believable ST?
Hi Satka you are just like me I'm 5'4-5'5 and little bit fat. some of the members are using "increase height method" like bobojuice post that link.
So there is no problem with height when it comes to the Storm troopers or any except on Vader perhaps? lol

Oh i see thru PM. i'll try to find him here. Thank you very very much for your info.
-
You will have to ask him about that. But more than untrimmed, and a lot more than an untrimmed ATA kit.
I see, so sir how to contact TM? is there any site? Etc etc
-
It's gonna cost extra, but yes, you could ask that.
Wow interesting! So any idea how much the cost? Kit and ready to wear. If you know sir.
-
Yes it is.
BTW, he also makes suits in 2mm acrylic capped ABS if you'd like that.
Very nice, but i'm worried about the kit. His kit is untrimmed and i dont know how to build. Can he make the suit ready to wear? Sorry for the double post.
-
Lol
Yes stay away from SDS
Paul is a good egg
SDS a bad egg
I see, but i read last time ago the TM is untrimmed? I dont know how to build a kit but can i ask him to make ready to wear suit?
-
troopermaster on these boards
you mean his username on this forum is "troopermaster"?
-
Yes. If FX is, so is this stuff
His suits are good, come ready made but in velcro etc.
We're just just telling you that's you're paying way over the odds for it. It's not accurate (very close though) plus some of his stuff is made from HIPS and can crack.
So if you're dead set on buying from him..... Ask him what his replacement policy is if it cracks, and does he use HIPS or ABS
The lads here don't mention his name much or advertise him in anyway due to the 2 LFL vs AA court cases in the UK and US
the armor and helmets Fabricated in white 2mm Acrylic capped ABS. i will tell andrew on his page if he can replace if there is crack.
for the court he won, the resolution is he can distribute to the any country except US.

If you're asking can an SDS suit be used for 501st clearance, the answer is yes.
So that means this SDS is acceptable for CRL requirements?
-
Take a look on this site and you'll find many other types of armor.
http://www.starwarshelmets.com/fan-made-stormtrooper-armor-submenu.htm
Would stay away from Shepperton and also from TE ( only second hand from trusted people)
If you want a armor which look like from screen , well than look after a Troopermaster ( TM ) armor.
http://www.starwarshelmets.com/tm_helmet_and_armor.htm
He's a very patient, friendly and a also candidly guy.And the armor is each penny worth it.
You can find him here in the forum.
Turrican can i know his username , TM store or contact info about him?
i want to inquire him ask a question. if you dont mind.
tnx for the advice.

hello guys i'm just asking if this store can be qualified to CRL Requirements?
its from Shepperton design studios, and the chairman of this store is Mr. Andrew Ainsworth the one who make the TK ANH way back in Ep 4.
he is selling costume and accessories for the TK. if this qualified i will buy this in the future.
if you notice the armor of ANH suit the holster is not attach at the belt. because it is excluded, part of the accessories, you must buy the holster separately and the Helmet also. for the holster i will modify my self, i will call assistance to the Philippine Outpost for the making of holster.

and also they have Facebook page of the original stormtrooper

"In 1976 prop maker Andrew Ainsworth of Shepperton Design Studios created the original Stormtrooper helmets and armour for the first Star Wars movie, A New Hope. All these years later, Andrew produces genuine, authentic replicas using the original moulds, as close as it is possible to get to the original film props.
Original Stormtrooper.com is the new Shepperton Design Studios website where you can buy our trooper, Imperial and Rebel products online, whether you are a costumer looking to be the envy of your garrison or a collector looking for the ultimate in memorabilia."
thank you for answering.

Hai genki desu. Yes I'm fine.
No I didn't meet the garisson. I'm not a member of the 501st myself yet. I've only recently bought some stormtrooper armor. I'm hoping to get it fitted soon.
I just went over to japan for a short holiday. I stayed in shinjuku and visted a few placs while I was there.
I went to tokyo disney, the ghibli museum, went to akihabra and yoyogi park. Such a fantastic place.
oh i see, good luck on your armor. indeed its very fantastic place especially in akihabara.
