    Well I just typed out a nice long post and then somehow ruined it.

     

    To try and redo this......I don't have any cons planned for now. I have spoken to a couple of 501st guys in the area just in passing. I think Trooper Tim is one of them (you are working a clone right now too right?). I have not pursued contacting the legion guys just because procrasination is one of my many talents. I was kinda waiting to finish up ol Jango first and then really start to reach out. But hey no time like the present.

     

    As far as my interest in trooping... I am very interested in trooping some hospitals. I had open heart surgery as a kid and spent time in Childrens Medical Center of Dallas. My daugher was born with cancer and I had contact with many of the hurting kiddos through that ordeal. My daughter is in FULL remission at the moment and doing great by the way. But I would still love to visit some of the other kids who haven't gotten to that point.

     

    My job has caused some hinderance this year too. I was transferred to weekend nights (uughh) but I am adjusting and hopefully I will have things sorted and Jango done by this summer. As soon as I get Jango done I know I will be looking for my next project,.....Trooper maybe....

     

    Thanks for the warm welcome. I am on several forums so I know that welcomes are not always this warm. LOL Sometimes they are nonexistent.

    It is kinda funny when you start to talk about driving distances and places in Ohio are closer to me than some of the places in Texas. I am just north of Dallas near the Oklahoma territory...or it might be a state now. And being in NM you are a lot closer to much of Texas than I am. LOL

     

    yeah its a geographical oddity 16 hrs from everywhere. (Oh Brother Where Art Thou reference for those not familiar with the film)

    Hello all,

     

    I am Chris, I live a bit north of Dallas. I am currently finishing a Jango Fett so I spend a lot more time on the BHG and TDH. I have been lurking here for a while though. I will attempt a TK or a Sandtrooper in the not too distant future. I am also a lurker over at MEPD.

    No DFW is no where near Austin, they are about 4 hrs apart. It is always a bit funny talking about Texas, cause from where I live I can drive for 16 hrs and not get out of the state.

     

    I am from Texas but I am about 5 hrs from the Austin area and hour north of Dallas. I don't have a TK, right now I am finishing up a Jango. I would love to do a TK in the future though.
