Just can't seem to get away from the peanut gallery...

Where to begin...
Yes, TK's not my primary. I run around in a Rep Commando or my TIE/181st kit most often. This is more of a "for when we need it" costume... Never know when we'll *absolutely* need white armor for a high-profile troop!
Just pulled drop boxes off a member's vac table locally, so I should be all set there soon.
My shoulder straps are the right length, they're just attached to webbing that attaches the chest/ab. So when I put on the kit, the straps pull, and the shoulders sag. I don't have elastic around the bottom to keep them secured, either.
Funny story about the thighs... I'm using a quick-clip system on the thighs, and the day these photos were taken? I forgot the belt that keeps them up. They're being held up with a quickly made "duct tape" belt, which was then covered with yet more duct tape.
The ab buttons are just black snaps. Fixing that now, as a matter of fact, with the properly painted Line 20 snaps, rather than the Line 24.
The amount of black? I'm a big guy (6'2", 275), so no matter what I do, there's going to be a lot of it. I've added side panels between the back and ab though, so that'll help cover the 2-3" gap on either side.
This site looks like a wealth of information... I've got a *lot* of reading ahead of me. Thanks for the welcome!

Was just popping in to see if anyone'd built one of these... How'd I know yours would be the first one I'd come across?
Fantastic work!

It's been a while since I wore my "TK," and only then because we drop-dead *needed* a TK for whatever events. I purchased the kit from a Garrison-mate who was moving on from the costume over two years ago, and it fit me *relatively* well. I need to fix up a *lot* of the attachments, and I'm sure just from the photos below, there's plenty of things people will point out need repair. I've already got the right-size ab snaps drying on the desk. I was told the kit was Studio Creations. I'll be looking to eventually update the bucket from the flat-topped monstrosity I've got now.
Alright, FISD. Hit me.

Glad you made it over, Chris!
