Not bad....only thing bugging me is the thighs. Looks like you have a similar set of armour to mine. I had to do a lot of modification to get a nice taper to the thighs. Looks good and fits you well.

Welcome aboard fellow garrison mate.

Happy Birthday Mason!

Welcome back Terry!

For a little more accuracy, you will also want to drop that butt plate below the belt. This will also act to cover a bit more of the undersuit showing from behind. If you are going to keep this as ANH, get rid of the loops on the holster and attach it to the inside of the belt with two chicago screws.

Quoc, I know you are right there in Manchester...get some sheet plastic at the hobby store across from the mall.

Hi,
I just got my fans (2) for my bucket. I was just curious on where people would suggest on putting them
Description and pictures would really help me out, I'm more of a visual learner
Thank you
Use one as an intake and one as an exhaust.

I also added a small return.

I think he is just enjoying his new Sandy he made recently.

Howdy Texas...and welcome!!
I assume when you say "create" you don't mean from scratch but mean from a kit.
Start here...
and more specifically, here...
Most importantly, if you haven't already, contact your local Garrison, they'll be happy to get you started and help you along the way.

Good looking Stormy there Steven.

Hmmmm, Mine has 8.

A cup of Chamomile tea will help Karin

Yeah, Pat pm'd me some photos of his Sandy build and I haven't seen him since...perhaps he has defected to the dirty side?
He had also mentioned that he and some of his Garrison may be coming down for the Boston St. Paddy's Day parade...which is this weekend.

Mine weren't huge on me but I modified them anyway just a bit by heating them and squeezing them tighter.

Sonnenschein sells them already made...

you can notch bend the front into the last vent hole, and put a 6/32 bolt and nut assembly all the way though the rear sight.
it looks a lot better than the rear bolt, but some were attached exactly that way.
the 6/32 bolts are usually available at the big home store.
This is exactly how I attached mine and can easily remove it if I needed to.

I love it when people find a piece of crap and automatically assume it's their ticket to infinite wealth!
Yeah, but free shipping.

well its my personal opinion and it is preferred because of my location and harsh weather prevent outdoor airbrushing.. i could order testors or humbrol offline but i hate to wait
plus if i spill it or forget to put the top on im boned
myself i try to work with materials i can find locally, unless there is no viable alternative
Yeah, unless you plan on trooping in the shower I don't see why using the acrylics would be a problem.
-
And there you have it Noob1971, if Dash approves of it, you're good

Acrylics are water-based and non toxic, enamel is oil-based and therefore toxic. The enamel is tougher and also waterproof while the acrylic if soaked or scrubbed with water will come off. Plan on trooping in the rain?
