Yeah, actually, if you go to K-Mart or such, and get the roll of foam bed padding, you can cut it up however you wish and use it inside your helmet. It's what I've done on all my costume helmets (minus my Iron Man, it's not big enough for the foam), and it's awesome. Stiff enough for support, soft enough for cushioning, light enough for breathability. Best part? It's only about $10 or so for WAY too much, you can screw up a half-dozen times and be fine.

Hello all, I'm a new guy coming over from CT.N after starting to realize that stormtroopers aren't as horrid costumes as I'd originally thought (Though you still can't see worth crap with bubble lenses), and that I might benefit from making one.
Some of my other costume-related hobbies include:
Battlestar Galactica (The Colonial Fleet)
Clones (obviously) (CT.N)
Custom Mandalorian (don't hate on it) (Mandalorian Mercs)
X-Men (no group)
Spider-Man (no group)
Green Lantern (no group)
Iron Man (no group)
Random costumes I come up with in the middle of the night (is there a group for that?)
I'm a triple major freshman at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL (Elementary Education, Secondary Education, Law) with a minor in English, and am currently (and unfortunately) unemployed. As a result, any money I get is usually spent on my girlfriend, and not on costumes, though I'm attempting to remedy that situation soon.
If you want to know anything else about me, feel free to IM me or such. My AIM sn is shinyguitar good, Yahoo! is seto2003, and MSN is cericneesh AT hotmail DOT com. I'm mostly on after 9:00 PM EST until three or four AM.
Um... I think I covered everything...

The Sith OverLord said:Talking about The Force Unleashed Stormtrooper there is a thread posted over at the 501st HQ Forum with a screen cap of these TK-TC hybrid troopers :
-----------
New guy here, but, it seems that these guys should be in the EU deatchment, since they're technically neither clones nor stormtroopers. I see a hybrid helmet and belt, and the following:
Clone:
Chest, Biceps, Gauntlets, Codpiece, Thighs, Elbows
Stormtrooper:
Shoulder, Ab plate, hand plate, shin, boot
They'd make interesting costumes if done in RL. Maybe I'll kitbash one together from figures...
At any rate, the painted stormtroopers are still, at their core, still stormtroopers. However, I think only the Stormtrooper Commander (blue) should be here, and the red ones (Inferno Troopers) should be in the SpecOps deatchment, due to their positions and roles.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm busy saving up to finish a couple of BSG costumes, then my money goes into a suit of Stormtrooper armor. Oh, a kilt comes first, actually.
