    mens-fashion-70s.jpg

No the jumpsuit, the jumpsuit these guys look like the nerdy guys my sister dated.

    YIKES!

Did you ever see Burt Reynolds in Cannonball Run?

If you HAVE to go 70's copy Burt!

  2. Ph1l2007 QUOTE "Stormtroopers are battling some kind of mercinary / pirate gang. Lots of collateral damage. One stormtrooper takes it upon himself to rescue a child about to be crushed by debris. Or something along those lines "

You forgot the attractive single mom/big sister of rescued child. :zam:

Who makes a cameo appearance for 3 episodes until her "lost/MIA/dead husband/"True Love" :luke3: is rescued/found

by ....the same noble Stormtrooper :trooper: or his squad members/best friends. :td::trooper:

There is ALWAYS a love triangle. :D

  3. As a mom I cringe at eat 4 whoppers a day :o .

    My suggestions

Eat protein and carbs for breakfast.

Eat 4 light meals a day.

    Use REAL butter.

    Eat bread at EVERY meal.

    Take a quality multi-vitamin.

    Carbo load before you exercise.

    Real cream in your coffee.

REAL ice cream for desert or between level/stages game night refuels.

After you have reached your weight, cut down the bread, cream, ice cream.

I'm not a diet doctor just a mom.

  4. :sith: You should make a trooper's manual, a copy of regulations, trooping orders or something like that.

Just let it "fall" out of your backpack or something.

    B) James Bond has nothing compared to you! B)

I work in a copy center and the guys I work with LOVE to do stuff like this!

Keep a record of all of this and when your nephew has kids you will have the BEST baby gift ever!

Congrats on creating a wonderful family legacy.

  5. Remember dear to drink lots of water.

Drinking water helps the meds get to where they need to go AND stay off a urinary tract infection.

Try a moist hand towel warmed in the microwave for about 20 secs for back spasms.

And under NO CIRCUMSTANCES do you touch one piece of armor until your doc AND your Mrs. says go Young Man!

You can fool your doc... you can even in rare occasions fool your wife...but it is highly unlikly you can fool both at the same time. :D

If anyone gives you grief about their order....PM me I'll make'm wish their momma had taught them manners.

    Please rest easy and mend.

  6. Your kit is precious to you.

You have spent many hours of research, obtaining pieces, assembling,

and polishing to make your kit your own.

    Now

1.How do you store your gear?

clean old socks for the smaller pieces and a old thin blanket?

    hand made fleece sacks?

    packing wrap and bubble wrap?

    and for your helmet?

bubble wrap and a cardboard box?

    a military helmet bag?

    bubble wrapped

    2. What do you store your gear in?

    Plastic trunk?

    Plywood with metal top trunk?

    military grade footlocker?

    Wooden boxes?

3.What have you wish you had NEVER stored your gear in?

read "Do Not Store your gear in..."

    4.

How do you secure it when going trooping?

A trusted person must stay with your stuff/personal effects the whole time

In the trunk of my car with the car alarm on!

padlocked in fellow trooper's car trunk.

chain and padlock/key lock in clear sight at ALL times

motion sensor tossed in with your gear?

    or perhaps...

:0Lighten: a rabid tasmainian devil with key fob enabled shock collar

(of which you have the only fob!) :sith:

My hubby had to guard the costumes/sabers and my son's full kit the entire time from a couple of per"SITH"tent 12 year olds.

They even tried to check out the empty bags and cases in the changing room! :Laser: Grrrrrrrr!

but because of it I thought of a funny.

It wasn't courisity that killed the cat...

it twas a :trooper: cause the cat was trying to mess with his kit!

  7. I want to thank every one of you guys! :D

    YOU ROCK!!!

    I luv you all!

THANK YOU for helping me and my wonderful hubby make our son's wish come true.

My son "D" knew something was up. He thought he was only going to get a cheapy bucket at most.

We had him go to our neighbors house(Miss S) on the pretense that she wanted to see D get his new bucket.

D is always helping Miss S with little things around her house.

So when D came over she asked if D would help her clean off her pool table.

under a sheet on her pool table was ALL the pieces for a FULL FX stormtrooper armour! (even armor polish!)

He was beamin from ear to ear. He was really stunned! Miss S and myself were weeping. His sisters were grabbing stuff and saying

"and here is your..... and I think that is your hand thingys or is that a knee..."

We even got him a trunk to store his full kit.

He has been walking around here on cloud 9 !!!

His armour building party last week included

    • Our happy son!
    • 2 of his buddies(Patsky and Evil Swordy)
    • his 2 younger sisters K and S
    • our elderly neighbor Miss S
    • his proud papa
    • myself/altess a.k.a Mom
We joked that his project was one of blood, sweat, and tears.
Patsky was cut trimming the velcro. (not too bad but my neighbor did rush to grab her "liquid Band-aids")
My son sweated thur the whole build he wanted NOTHING to go wrong with his armor
and the tears gentlemen they were mine ......all mine.

His dad told him about all of the support, concern, assistance, and love you have sent my way.

You gentlemen are the "BEST of the Best"

I will post ...well really hubby will post pics for me. I hate digital cameras and they LOVE to hate me....

pictures of the new trooper this weekend.

Did I mention I've caught him humming the Imperial March :) Thanks guys and I truely mean it "Your the Best!"

  8. Welcome to the FISD,

These gentlemen are THE BEST! Do not hesitate to post or pm a question. They will help you out.

They are helping me get a full set of armour together as a surprise for my son.

I have pm some REALLY DUH questions to these guys and they have saved me from making a couple of costly mistakes all without laughing at me.
