Here are the results: Side gap shims plastic only - passed by a vote of 40 to 0 All EIB troopers will need to change/upgrade as necessary to comply - passed by a vote of 31 to 9 Troopers have 12 months to comply - by a vote of 21 to 19 In other words, as of now we will no longer accept EIB applicants with non-plastic side gaps. Existing EIB who have fabric side gaps will have 12 months to upgrade their suits or be marked as "inactive" on the EIB rolls. I'm updating the CRL & EIB now to reflect this change.
