But *cough, cough* ecccchhh! The SMELL!! I got my AP second-hand from a smoker and even after removing all the padding, it took quite a bit of airing out to get that smell out. The padding had soaked up the worst of it though.

Paul you should try acrylic ink it should take to the foam. There maybe other mediums at Atlantis art supplier which will evenly colour foam. I'll look into it.

I think I saw some kind of foam like the one you're looking for over here in Germany some time ago. I'm not quite sure if it has the right color shade but as soon as I can get my hands on a sample I'll sent you a picture of it.

Update: The foam I put outside 2 weeks ago has turned yellowish, but its apparent that it will not look like the deep mustard yellow we need.

Just took a look at some spare foam that I got back in October last year and

guess what?, its turning YELLOW!!
