Morgul702 Posted November 15, 2025 Report Posted November 15, 2025 Just as the title reads, I think its been long enough that we re-evaluate the R1/Disney Era Tk's. We can recategorize them or fold them in to one CRL with small variants such as how we have done with the Shoretrooper Squadleader. Additionally re-evaluate the page for accuracy, such as we have learned that the R1TKs were closer to satin finish vice a gloss. this way we can have a one stop shop for R1, Kenobi, Mando, Solo and Andor, fold them all in to a "Non-Saga TK" If we need a project lead for this I'll be more then happy to take it. What do we think? Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted November 15, 2025 Report Posted November 15, 2025 Firstly I notice you have a TKID, you may want to reach out to your GCO or GML, your legion record is "classified" this normally means you have been made reserve or retired. Once reinstated you can request 501st or TK access here There has been some staff discussion in regards to this as well as between our DO and the LMO's, some names have been tossed around but nothing decided upon as yet. Inclusion of some variations seen in "New Era / Disney" shows has also been discussed, again nothing decided upon to date. There is A LOT on the CRL's to do list, with some outstanding new CRL's in line to be finalized with the newly updated database and some other CRL's requiring updates, there is a lot going on in the background . Watch this space Thanks for the reply, yeah, I haven't trooped in a hot min, I need to resubmit for a number of costumes, notably, my ANH stunt, Shocktrooper, and my two WIPs (shoretrooper, and this R1 TK that ive been sitting on). I was kinda planning on doing one mass submission of all them. but that prob ain't the best idea. lol. Can't wait to see the changes the staff are considering, and again would love to be part of process. Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted November 19, 2025 Report Posted November 19, 2025 LMO's agreed quite some time ago that Non Saga was to be the category for any TK not directly related to the big films, so that is an automatic update. It's also not just the Disney era CRL's that require work as there are some older CRL's also that still need tweaking, so although I agree, this will still take some time so the older CRL's don't become further neglected. 1 Quote
themaninthesuitcase[Admin] Posted November 19, 2025 Report Posted November 19, 2025 The steer from LMO was the R1/Andor etc TK will be called Non-Saga (NS), this is in line with what's been done with other detachments. We do have a few NS based armours at the moment, R1, Artillery trooper are approved. Enoch is sort of NS based but also heavily modified, then the night trooper CRL is in progress as well which again is modified but the armour is the same. Looking at what we have, if we were to change anything it would be to rename the Rogue One CRL to be Non-Saga and then update the top to reflect this. I know there's a few bits in the other appearances that vary, but I'd need to dig in more to remember what any of that was. Accuracy wise, always open to update the CRLs, but we need help. The best way for updates due to accuracy to happen is to come with a list, backed up with evidence and we can the review and once happy pass on to LMO for approval. Once they are happy it's a quick job to update. The hardest part of this tends to be if we need now photos, as we'd need a member to build the new part, then photo it, then send it to us. Historically this has been like pulling teeth. 3 Quote
