Greetings from Australia

Hi everyone,

I’m about to commence a build of my RS ESB kit and I’m looking forward to getting started. I’ll admit it’s a bit of a daunting task so I’ll be asking some questions! But to start, is there a thread specifically for RS builds? I’m not sure how much trimming is needed for each part of armour? Does anyone go into specifics with photos etc?

Many thanks everyone!

Welcome to FISD Piers!!

plenty of solid troopers that will help you out in Knightfall garrison.

As to build threads, check out the ESB, link below

https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/82-esb-build-threads/

Most armour trims up the same way, it is more about trimming it to fit your size/shape.

Check out any of the ANH build threads as well (same armour with only a few differences, so just refer to the appropriate CRL for that.

Also take a look at our higher levels of accuracy. These are purely voluntary but it is always easier to start with the top level in mind, rather than to have to pull things apart to attempt mods later on.

Good luck with your build, and we look forward to your build thread.

Welcome to the FISD, Piers!  I see you have some great advice so far, but to echo that, we are here to help every step of the way!  You have a bit of research in front of you, and this site can be a bit overwhelming with all the info. here, but we are always available to assist in any way we can so feel free to ask any and all questions you need to.  I have a few tutorials under my avatar (below) that may help as well.

Welcome!!

Definitely take your time! Triple check each bit you trim off and every hole you cut. I’ve gotten too eager a few times in my build and am still fixing stuff on my RS ESB build because of that!

If you get stuck anywhere on the build, feel free to give me a shout - I’ve been immersed in the world of RS ESB for a while now.

Hi Piers,

Another ESB stormtrooper, excellent choice (though there are no bad choices when it comes to the empire ).

Not much in the way of info I can add to the messages you've already had, other than to add my welcome, and to say that there really is no such thing as a silly question.

All the best with your build,
Rich
