ANH vs ESB assembly methods?

Recommended Posts

I'm just about to begin assembly of my TE derived kit

I've been doing a lot of research on building the actual armour (previously I've only seriously studied helmets) and I've been noticing that most everyone builds their armour the "ESB" way (torso clam shell)

I would like to build mine as close to ANH screen used armour as possible. How were they built (if they were built differently) for ANH?

Thanks for any help

Hey Avery welcome. Most armor here is built to the ANH "Stunt" type. That said, regardless of type all are assembled using the clam style entry (Stunt, Hero, ESB and ROTJ). If you follow any of the pinned build threads you can't go wrong.

Hope this helps and please let us know if you have further questions.

Also make sure you follow the CRL's (costume reference library) base standards for 501st legion approval https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:FISD_CRL

Here is a datasheet showing the differences between the versions https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view

Also when adding images from imgur try using the "direct link" as your image with then show, an info thread here
