Nice work trooper, a couple of things mentioned in your previous EI feedback:

The size and shape of your large ab button plate is as close to screen accurate as you can get, but the 4 button plate could use some trimming.  I would also think about cleaning up the paint on the buttons a little bit to give you a more polished look.

A few other suggestions before the DO's get here:

You could trim the larger rear tab off your shoulder straps.

This is not specifically mentioned in the CRL, but removing them is highly recommended if possible.

-2t_sWXWJb8nJoMJKSJrfUkvBV1G0Js9AfPkLitO

Appears you may have some excess paint on your gums; Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area.

Black lines around the ear bumps could be slightly thinner

 ZxLFLba.jpg?1   qF0VEpz.jpg?1   goYxik5.jpg?1

Although it appears you have adjusted the forearms since your EI application they still appear a little large at the elbow when you compare to your biceps, especially noticeable from on the rear. Could also rotate the TD so you can see the O detail

5ggXI6r.jpgENBGgGW.jpg?1

Also appears you still have a slight gap between the kidney and butt plate

IMG_2326.thumb.jpg.706425b51dea6322d359f0e945caf3d8.jpg

Plastic belt corners should meet the fabric belt:

  • The corners of the plastic ammo belt shall be trimmed at a 45 degree angle that that meets the outer edge of the cloth belt.

IMG_E2441.thumb.JPG.1deb4668fa8a0f00760c2ea911e6990b.JPG

The rivet on the inner side thigh ammo strip appears higher and should be centered on the lower ridghe:

0D7wWR8bBc176ntzfAaeFngNJU_vYtHAgydCbbtC

These are just suggestions, it is entirely up to the DO's what they would like addressed ;)

Good luck with approval trooper

Very nice shots of your armour Grave, only some small areas that Glen pointed out could make you look the best you can.

Good luck with your approval sir.

Well done, Grave. Overall, that’s looking great. :-)

Just to add to what Glen highlighted, one of the rear decals appears to be bigger that the trap and is overlapping the ridge.

Also, as it’s a Centurion application I can’t help but mention the helmet alignment. Not that I expect you’ll have to change it, but more for your information if you choose to make another helmet in the future, or for any other troopers looking at this Centurion application.

I wanted to highlight the construction/alignment of the helmet. As it stands, it has a very close resemblance to Return of the Jedi (ROTJ) or ESB MKII helmets. These were different to A New Hope and had a different look.

Let me stress that this is not a criticism and that 99% of the public would not notice the following at all. I’m purely mentioning this as it’s at Centurion level.

Here’s a look at your helmet vs an original ANH stunt helmet;

3954af01a323f15793d37b9d4b18ba98.jpg

And here vs ROTJ;

fc8b6b7307cbab2182aad84294e453e9.jpg

The main difference is how the faceplate is aligned. You’ve aligned your faceplate with the eyes pointing up into the brow (green line). This gives the helmet a longer appearance (blue line) and a very angled face (red line).

6f759ed4b8bf700ed0e3a24da73809c8.jpg

The ultra low brow look is more ROTJ, also. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/47588-imperial-stormtrooper-choosing-your-brow-height/

The back/cap of the MTK helmet does have some similarities to the ROTJ helmet (soft lines) so this is perhaps a helmet derived from an ROTJ helmet. (I don’t know much history of MTK).

Changing this at this point would be difficult as the holes have already been drilled etc. As I mentioned at the start, I would not expect you to have to change this for Centurion approval, however, it is hopefully useful information for any future builds you may undertake or, more importantly, for any troopers looking through Centurion applications for reference.

If you did decide to change it, here’s an approximate example of how this could be done:

Best of luck with your approval, Grave.

Best wishes
CableGuy

Wow.  And I mean WOW!  I am well impressed by the AMAZING job you have done on those fixes, brother!  I want nothing more than to get that badge under your name, but we need one more easy fix to do that.

As seen below, the paint on the top of the teeth is absolutely spot-on, but a few on the bottom need to have a tiny bit removed.  As per the CRL. "...the frown does not leave the teeth area".

You have come this far, Grave, so I trust that we will see an updated photo soon so that we can add yet another Centurion to the HKG ranks!  :salute:

Hi Grave, and thank you for your application for ANH Stunt Centurion!

CRL and Centurion Application Requirements:

All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of CENTURION.  Congratulations!  :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly;

In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions.

First, GREAT job on addressing the issues that were requested, sir!  I am really glad that Arthur was there to assist you (Troopers helping Troopers!) and you guys really took care of them in fine style.  Well done, gentlemen!

Just a few small items here that we noticed that will sharpen up your look:

As seen below, it looks like there is quite a bit of paint on the sides of your right Hovi-tip screen.  The left one is perfect!  A few minutes with a razor knife will take care of this.

                                                                                                                                                       Reference images

5PxwEVs.jpg?1   ZqdOGYm.jpg?2             VUG4rlk.jpg?1  6TsS7it.jpg?1  YcA4oET.jpg?1

As suggested in the CRL, the top of the tube stripes should lean toward the front.  Not the biggest of deals, but if they are decals we are suggesting that you replace them for a more screen-accurate look.

                                                                                                                            Reference images

9wVVA98.jpg?1           6xB7Ka1.jpg?3  XZTUiqx.jpg?2  R4olFbx.jpg?2

In your initial photos, your ABS belt is close to the perfect position... covering just the bottom(s) of the ab-button panels.  In the more recent photos it has dropped and is twisted pretty far to the right but keep in mind that the center square button cover should be lined up in the center of the ab plate.  Just a heads-up to make sure when suiting up that the belt is in the right position.

                                                                                                                                                                                                             Reference images

 QB2ZaDo.jpg     oGEyWVz.jpg        htJ7SMD.jpg?1  3il39hm.jpg?1  kvLWAuL.jpg?1  shmv6bP.jpg?1

And that's it!  Now you can say you are one of the "Original 500" Centurions, so get out there in that awesome armor and make the HKG proud!  :salute:
