Hello from Minnesota!

Greetings all,

I've been interested in the 501st for quite a while now, and it's time to take the plunge.  I hail from the Twin Cities area of Minnesota, and especially in winter, it feels natural to choose a classic stormtrooper as my first costume.  (I won't rule out other costumes later, but for now I have to start somewhere).  Facebook's 501st Legion page tells story after story of "bad guys doing good" bringing joy to people everywhere.  The Legion inspired me personally by adding an extra touch of class to my wedding reception (the one part I was in charge of).  Now it's time for me to put on the armor and join the ranks.  I look forward to trooping with everyone, especially once this pandemic thing eases up!

Cheers,

Erik

Welcome Erik.  I think in Minnesota you could take advantage of doing an amazing Snowtrooper also.  Whatever you do, just enjoy the entire process.
