Cez77
Hello there! I was recommended to try to find out something about this helmet in this forum. I have a problem identifying the helmet. There is a cast that is more than 15 years old. I wonder if there might be an option that this is an old CFO? It is probably white ABS. I compared to the Shepperton helmet but there are a lot of differences between them and no other prop produced at the time is similar to this helmet. The helmet belongs to my friend and this helmet was part of his first legion registered armor (around 2003 before he repainted it). I also know that this helmet was made in Germany. gmrhodes13[Staff]
It could be a recast as some of the details are very soft, no hard detailing, like the vocoder for example, should be more defined You will find a lot of images of fan made helmets here which you may be able to compare with http://www.starwarshelmets.com/fan-made-stormtrooper-armor-submenu.htm
Cez77
Sure, it could be a recast because back then it was unrealistic to buy a good prop in my country. I know the page with helmets and it is very helpful in many matters, but nowhere have I found a helmet that could be copied. The details are very soft which means it has been copied and the form has not been improved. After all, there is a chance that this could be a recast of the CFO helmet? gmrhodes13[Staff]
CFO are very squished (and tall) in appearance compared to a lot of other helmets, so personally I don't think it is one CFO Comparison to yours
Cez77
I wrote it wrong, forgive me. I mean can the helmet be cast from the original ANH?
gmrhodes13[Staff]
If the helmet was made in Germany then I would doubt it's been cast from an original ANH helmet, but who can really say unless you have the full history from 2003 backwards. All you could do is try to overlay images of screen used helmets with yours but getting identical images would be very hard.
