Thanks!! I'll look into it more.

The traditional and of course most accurate way is to vacuum pull the parts. But in modern times as 3D-printing has become more and more popular, people have become more creative.

Since this is a relatively new developement, there is not too much to find, but some stuff is out there.

you may want to look at these threads and forums:

If you're looking into 3D printing FOTK, someone else needs to chime in, I'm not that deep into the ep7-9 troopers.

I'm wondering if it's possible to fully 3d print stormtrooper armor. I don't care about print time or the work required to assemble it. I'm just wondering if it's a possibility to build fully 3d printed screen accurate armor.

You will find quite a few shore troopers and death troopers have been 3D printed and legion approved.

Hardest part if finding an accurate set of 3D files, they are becoming more common for newer costumes and 3D modeling has really been taking off in the last few years. There are OTTK (ANH) 3D files available to purchase here (although I'm not aware of anyone completing them)

You can find other 3D files in this section
