M38 scope for e11 build

Hello all!

I'm not sure if this is where I should post this but, I've been planning to build my own 3d printed sterling smg to convert it into an e11 blaster and I wanted it to have a functional scope. The problem comes when I try to either replicate or buy a scope. Either the scope is too expensive or there aren't any in stock so I took apart a telescope I had laying around and 3d printed the scope instead but the problem with that is that the image is upside down, I did mu research and found most scopes use a prism and while the telescope came with one, it wasnt the right one I needed. As many of you may know the scope for the e11 is really small and trying to find a compatible system of lenses and prisms for the scope to function like the real deal is a challenge. Can anyone point me to the right direction with either a fairly cheap set (less than 25 preferably) or a blueprint of the scope including the prism holder and the prisms themselves? Any and all comments would be very much appreciated. Thank you all for your time!

Hello and welcome aboard, I haven't seen very much in the way of blueprints, just a few images

Hi Erik. This is a tall order to find the correct setup for a functioning scope. I own several real scopes that I use to cast resin copies. I tried many times to find some alternative ways to transplant existing scope setups inside the M38 or M19 replica scopes but found it difficult to say the least. I will never say impossible as I know there are people out there with great ideas and knowledge to make it work somehow.  I was able to buy the remaining stock of original prisms and prism cells for the M38s and M19s. Even with those prisms I could not get the correct lenses to make the scope work correctly. These were very precisely made back in the day. Having custom lenses and prisms made would cost me my kidney or kidneys so that idea went out the door quickly.    But with all that said, I would keep testing various lenses and see if you can get the image to invert as you hope. Maybe someone with optic expertise can help figure out a good but cheap way to make this happen.

Check out my resin scope kits on my FB page https://www.facebook.com/BulldogPropsJapan . These are exact copies of the original scopes inside and out so you could try and replicate the original lens/prism setup as closely as possible.
