Captain_Glitter[501st]
So I was told a WIP is something that will help even more so with approval so I buckled down and made one. Unfortunately the recent pictures of my progress are too big to attach, so far, but I have my cape!

Captain_Glitter[501st]
So here is the helmet after a 1500-3000 wet sand session. I'm using krylon primer and gloss for paint. I know I need to get a very fine filer to detail the lines on top but thought I made good progress on the helmet.
gmrhodes13[Staff]
Nice work, preparation is the key to getting a nice finish. Some thread on adding pics
justjoseph63[Staff]
Nice job so far, Matt! Since you are going for the TLJ version, don't forget that (as per the CRL) Basic approval (and above) all metallic surfaces require a "Mirror like/unweathered" finish. You have some serious sanding time in front of you, but I look forward to seeing your progress!! Keep up the great work!
Captain_Glitter[501st]
Thanks Joseph! Yeah, I know there is a lot of sanding still ahead, not just on the helmet either. I'm happy I've gotten this far currently.
