It's finally here! BBB day! Everything seems to be in perfect condition. I still need to get the grey PVC for my TD. I'm thinking of starting with the helmet and then moving on to the rest.

Specs:

Armor: ATA

boots: ImperialBoots

soft parts: AP

Strapping: ImperialBoots

Comments and suggestions are very much welcomed as I try to put this thing together!e37bd1ac81a155bc0c28b221ed5b6664.jpg7d91ee255a5402be79e94cf8f4dcc0f7.jpg

Great news nothing better than BBB’s. For the TD it’s not always available in grey so some of us buy white and paint, I used grey primer and clear coated afterwards. Be sure to tape up the ends so you can still get the end caps on ;)

Good luck and looking forward to the progress

So I started trimming today. I'm unclear where I should trim on the helmet. I'm also cleaning up the ears. I'll cut it out more when i get to screwing the whole thing together. I'll also be dremeling on the teeth tonight, I'll post a pic once I'm done. Also, should I trim the top of the face piece? b6843f28aa8d842072f73377dce10142.jpgb21b6a3fe72ced40ce9bc0e627a69da1.jpg0c900a3cfdfaeb6f58fc24d69fd16f4e.jpg67c9464c932ff4a4893759fa125c9313.jpgb0805ea217c90db2463925ff495472dc.jpg7e53e36b2dc89edc1d9016fbc852929e.jpge0de079fe36199a38c60866caaa33cfa.jpg

Some shiny new plastic awesomeness right there.

Take your time, look closely at all the details and shoot for Centurion.

Look forward to seeing your progress.

So far so good, Clay!  When trimming any of the parts, it's always best to leave a little more than you think you will need... you can always remove more if required.  Use the old adage "Measure twice (or 3 times), cut once".   Keep those photos coming, and if you have (or think you have) an issue, be sure to ask before you "move along".

For the teeth holes I use a miniature file set. Perfect width, straight lines.

Bring your TD end caps with you to Home Depot. You’ll know when you’ve found the right pipe. Mine was black ABS pipe and I painted it grey.

I'm currently using a small half round file 0733ef79f2cccb0189eecd83f2259731.jpg

A combination of files will be needed, the flat ones will help keep the sides/top/bottoms a little straighter. You can also fold sandpaper over itself a few times which makes it stronger and use that to remove any sharp excess.

ATA TD is the smallest out of all makers and it's a weird size, actually not made here locally and I found some old stock at salvage yard, you may have better luck at your end, as suggested make sure you take your end caps, you may find you will still have to sand the pipe so the caps go on easily ;)

Hey guys, I've finished trimming the helmet parts. Next thing to do is adding the screws. I also need to clean up the eyes some more. If there's anything you see I still need to do before I make holes please let me know!ca230f877fdc86905947b6973a387628.jpg&key=b539a58e146e8d06ad792718021dcb6a82073a926edceb413de3f24a0b778eb7338a03982d666250500a3f607fd2fd5c.jpg&key=9f05692847350388d19c1427ae21c28bc1f301af57a91013a3dc6c4bf4c648c38eecf9f399d8cc815402a91a7520f11c.jpg&key=d673805047953119c92b3e2a40be2a2813ab2f4e7025550725774bdc4795673b112ffefad52ae979f57715fec81cf0f7.jpg&key=f2211396194173b0c9c3b21a9baca4460d34514b13bbfd9e8f27514c68384d09bb133cb087b15a8135e1944ef9a94ca8.jpg&key=c7c9c9a70e5f701788da918da2de890bd736fdb99e2e8a4823386adfc63cce8703821b8283b3cba6ab520516a12e49c8.jpg&key=b9dd80cc82a3cd4ef84682fe917d1ed33ca275c696ab15a5e03e82ab32dd9828bcea526991fa4e6e08d55e29c7f4543b.jpg&key=3c695832338e40145362ce0a1910814aaf2e5580414e3b7f528cca4c06450adf
