Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

arrived 2 days ago from RS Prop Masters,

those guys are Legends, perfect fit,

as for the Brian Muir signature helmet !!! its mind blowing.

First rushed fit, thigh armour definitely too high.

I will upload more when I have chance.

Thanks,

Eric.

Great news and so glad it fits you well, some guys have had problems with sizing.

Looking forward to seeing more, when you can stop smiling at yourself :laugh1:

Did you have any issues getting it approved, I am buying mine from there also.

HE got approved, otherwise he wouldn't appear as 501st TK (the green text below his profile pic). If you got the measurements right it should work out for you, too :)

If you are having RS build it for you as a commission you should have no issues.  Occasionally there are a few minor fitting issues (which are easily remedied) but they really do a fantastic job, and their builds are normally acceptable all the way to Centurion level right out of the box.

If you are doing it yourself, there are some awesome build threads here that will help and we are here to assist you every step of the way!

Hi Paul,

no issues at all,

Guys were really helpful.

It takes a bit of getting used to as in the restrictions of moving and visibility limitations.

You may have to tweek how it sits on you so all sections are in line.

Wear it every chance you get it will benefit you when you need to take it outside :)

PS, sorry for delay in responding.

I know they don't usually include frown mesh (we require it as costumers, but technically not movie accurate), but they're otherwise usually good to go. From what I've seen, the biggest changes people usually have to make to RS commissions are for comfort, not accuracy - they're nice for display out of the box, but not really for trooping! Adding helmet fans, better helmet padding, reinforcing the shoulder bridges, fixing some of the strapping for longevity, and adding velcro or padding to areas that rub like the TD clips, for example are all highly recommended, but not required. RS is accurate to a fault sometimes :P

Congrats to the OP tho! Looks like it fits well. Submit for EIB next! :D
