Hi Pam and thank you for your EIB application.

Idealy the photos are correctly oriented but as you already put some effort in to fixing them I will sort them out for you:duim:

We do however need some additional photos:

# Helmet - lens color.

# Cod fixing - outside.

# Thigh ammo fixings - inside/outside.

# Sniper knee - straight on photos showing the front/left/right.

Thank you, the pics would not cooperate. I tried to figure out how to delete them with no luck. Ugh! Will work on other pics asap. Thank you so much!

I hope these are what you need. The lighting in my house isn't great. For the thighs I use a leather belt to hold them up. I wanted something stiffer than the nylon strap and buckle. Always felt like they were falling down. Thank you! I will take more if you need them. Look forward to hearing from you.01784fb465ed1b1042b1c7813d63b2aa.jpga68d2ba13551c8eab34c99e585e3330a.jpgd6af0d7ecf136f16e21ff23ec93f2863.jpg9aa30ac40fc669649cc137cd2e3bd108.jpg85dd63fcebb388ecd952353517dc36ae.jpgd3ef97435c97f1d9f75a4a6aa098703c.jpg7b4678ac6d962bc11f9e9a0955ac266a.jpg1644c2eee59c7a7b3ce29ce4688befd9.jpgc514124a09c811eed41851d029c0c508.jpg

Hi Pam

I actually need both left and right thigh ammo pack fixing. I´m sure they are the same but still need to see it:)

And, I need you to tweek the sniper knee as CRL L2 states that it must aligne with the ridges of the shin. The inside part is great but this side needs to come down more or in other words, get the red line to were the blue is. I would try and just loosen this side to start with, if that´s a no-go I would take the sniper knee off and remove all the lower return egde (indicated by the arrows) and that should help with getting it in check. Also, I´m off for a 3day convention Troop tomorrow and staying in a hotel and not bringing my computer, so I won´t be able to proceed with your review untill I get back on sunday. It`s just over an 8h drive so wednesday and sunday are travel days. I´m still available for questions and support if needs be though:salute:

GREAT job on that sniper knee fix, Pam!!  :salute:
I'm not sure if I need to remove the whole thing and redo. If seems to be under alot of stress. I'm hoping it doesnt break.

Hi Pam

If you decide to redo the sniper knee be sure to keep it level in the front as well, the way you have it now is fine for EIB but we will need you to amend this for Centurion. I am working on your review - haven’t forgotten:salute:

And, if you need help in how to adjust the Sniper knee just let us know:duim:

Lol! I knew it! When I looked at the pic again it did look slightly off. I will fix it. Kinda of want to wait alittle. For me, that was one of the most difficult things to work with. Not a whole lot to clue to in the front.

I will definitely fix it before applying for Centurion! Everytime I work with my armor I'm so afraid I'm going to break something.

Hi again Pam and thank you for your EIB application.

In this review I will ensure that your armor follows the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Expert Infantry Badge and also point out what I can to prepare you for Centurion, should you choose to apply. I hope you do!

Let´s get started!

CRL and EIB Application Requirements

All required photos are now in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to Expert Infantry rank. On behalf of the DO team and myself, many congratulations! :duim:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly

In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions

You did great on your build and we only have a few small suggestions to make and starting with the helmet we see that the ears are nicely fitted. The majority of Stunt helmets also had a bit of a lean to them, as seen in the reference images, so if you feel up to it we feel this would ad even more to that ANH feeling.

Ge8Kfbr.png

The belt is fine as it is but same as with the ears, some small tweeking and it would be perfect. In this case raising the center part of the belt a smidgen.

RvsuQox.png

Moving on we have the TD and idealy the screws are positioned closer to the edge and further apart. We also suggest not making the bends so pronunced (full arrows) and to add that little bend on the ends for uber ANH magic.

sqgyI25.png

Here we would have preferred that you hadn´t made these mobility cuts as you don´t seem to need them, it just looks cleaner not having them. Unless you went for that particular look in which case we:th_AnimatedBravoSmiley: Keeping the thighs longer would then be the go-to suggestion as it looks like you trimmed them shorter.

And that´s it for EIB - moving on to Centurion.

Centurion Requirements

In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustments. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here.

Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items to pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all that we can from what is seen, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper.

Not much to say here other than we´re picky and want you to shorten the straps that hold the bells.

scykOzu.png

We´re just as picky here and request you thighten the strapping to keep that back plate nice and snug to the kidney.

There we have it! Welcome again to Expert Infantry and with some fine tuning Centurion is well within your grasp:salute:
