ukswrath[Staff]
Hey Adi looking good. One of the DOs will be with you shortly. If I had any suggestions to enhance the look of your armor it would be to following: 1. Tighten the strapping on the side of your posterior, they're flaring out a bit. They should be even with the kidney plate. 2. Raise your waist belt so that the upper ammo belt is at or just below the lowest Ab button. There's a couple more areas that may need some enhancement but none of these or the above should hold you back from EIB. ukswrath[Staff]
Hey Adi I was referring to the butt plate issue.
ukswrath[Staff]
What you use for interior connection strapping has no bearing on your application as the CRL only states that you use elastic or nylon webbing. That said, the CRL does state the shoulder connections are to be white.

Alay[TK]
One idea to help that butt plate flare could be to adjust the angle of your belt. That's how I keep mine in anyways, by putting the belt over that seam. It's body type dependent though so check if it's practical for you before making any cutting adjustments. Alternatively putting a snap elastic between the kidney and the very very end of that butt plate on each side with a tight spacing should pull them together well. gmrhodes13[Staff]
You could also try some tighter elastic/Velcro or if that doesn't work my little V tab tip for the butt flap flare, just use a couple of strips of ABS, a little heat and glue on one side. Use straps at the ends instead
