Hello from Richardson, Texas!

Recommended Posts

Hello all. Just received a BBB with my Anovos Imperial Stormtrooper kit in the mail yesterday and my head and heart are exploding. Though I am feeling a bit overwhelmed on making my first trim. I'm a designer/art director so I'm confident in my skills but I've waited so long for Anovos to fulfill my order I just don't want to mess anything up. My goal is to join The North Texas Squad of The Star Garrison. I'm a cancer survivor so looking forward to helping to bring some joy to families who need it. And to make some new friends. Cheers!

PS - I'll be at Celebration and hope to meet some of you there.

Hey Rob welcome to the FISD. If you haven't done so already head on over to the ANH build thread section. There you'll find plenty of threads to follow along and learn from. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help.

Welcome and have fun on your journey. I have an Anovos OT Kit as well. It was my first, and only build so far, but it was a great experience. There are some awesome build threads as Tony has mentioned earlier. The group of people here are second to none, and always ready to help out.

Hi Rob! You're in my neck of the woods. There is an armor party coming up on 3/31 in Richardson. PM me if you're interested in learning more - can work on the armor with a few folks!

Welcome Rob! Like all have said before me you'll find a ton of information here and the first cut is the hardest. I remember starting with the hand guards thinking worst case is I  can easily get a set of silicone ones. And I would also suggest studying ukswrath Anovos build  You'll find 99.99999% of us refer to his highly detailed build threads.

Any questions start a build thread so you'll be able to post photos and ask as they arise!

Best of luck on your journey.

Welcome aboard and good luck with your build (now that's finally here)!  Check out the other build threads (any maker will do- there's a lot of crossover), EIB and Centurion approved applications for great close ups and details, and don't be afraid to ask all the questions!  That's what we're here for.
