Everyone arrived early, fresh faced and bushy tailed, excited for another fantastic trooping event at the Zoo, in aid of the sunbears. After getting costumed up, with our teddy bears in tow, we all set off to wow the crowds with our awesomeness. After photos and high fives near the entrance, we all meandered off, spending time on the main lawn and wandering around the zoo, seeking out all the shady spots to pose for photos. At one point, with the heat getting to them a bit, Volksjager and Flocky got a little over excited and giggly while flashing and lighting up the Nocturnal House. With several water breaks throughout the day, and a lunch break to tide us over, we managed another hour of fun and shenanigans, posing for photos in front of the Save The Bears stall, and with the equally awesome paramedics, and arresting anyone and everyone, including a random princess, but unfortunately she was not the princess we were looking for. A couple of rebel scum rocked up towards the end and Volksjager even went head to head as Tie Pilot Vs X-Wing Pilot. Of course we all know who would’ve won. We wrapped the troop up at about 2.30pm, all exhausted but feeling elated from yet another fun and successful troop. Thanks to the Zoo for having us once again. CHARITY: N/A INJURIES: Sore and worn out but no injuries. ARMOR REPAIRS: None reported HAPPY PEOPLE: Everyone. UNHAPPY PEOPLE: None. Didn’t even scare any little ones and make them cry!
