Looking for weathering threads

Recommended Posts

I've been looking for some weathering threads, but I can't find any that fit the level of weathering I want.  Every thread I find has more of a Sandrooper look to it.  I want it to be VERY light.  Like I have been stationed in a garrison on a jungle world. I keep my armor as clean as possible, but a little grime and some scratches are still inevitable.  Does anyone know where I can find a thread for that?

Okay, thanks!  So you can have a Stormtrooper and a Heavy weapons trooper just by getting a pauldron and backpack?

There are a few other differences, (no TD, no holster) but absolutely!  Certain types of weathering can be removed so that you can switch back and forth.

It's a two-in-one costume! Are you allowed to make the drop boxes on your TK belt removable for the HWT?

No rule stating how they are attached, most use loops of elastic over the fabric belt so they will come off. The only other issue you would have with the HWT is no holster so really there should be no rivets/screws/holes on the belt but you could always have 2 fabric belts and have an the plastic section of the belt interchangeable.

I didn't know that you could take the canvas belt off.  I guess It makes sense, so you can take it off and clean it.  I thought it was attached with rivets.

Some do use rivets but if you use snaps then you can seperate them ;)
