rharlan91[TK]
Will the stock button plates on my AM armor pass for EIB? Here's a snapshot of them. It was suggested recently by a friend that they would not, but I dont see anything in the CRL for EIB, just Basic and Centurion.. Thanks for your time. themaninthesuitcase[Admin]
Matt is spot on. Looks like you didn't trim down the mouldings to just he plates before attaching them.

tarok[TK]
Hiya. Here’s a lovely screen used example. :-)Great reference photo, Dan. Thanks!Am I correct in saying the button is only painted on top, and not the walls (for want of a better term)?I’m sure I’ve seen a diagram illustrating this. Perhaps a Billgram?Sent from my DH77 using Tapatalk
justjoseph63[Staff]
Dan gave you a perfect example of a screen-used reference, Robert. Hopefully you used E-6000 to attach them! If it helps, I did the exact same thing on my first AM build. Took me a bit of work to get them off, but worth it in the end. Using that reference pic as a guids, I would trim them as seen below:

As if by magic, this is probably what you were thinking of. Just bear in mind, this might vary a little from armour maker to armour maker. For example, AP has very large buttons.
