Hi Miguel,

Nearly there now.

During our review, we have noted that your sniper knee requires some minor adjustments to meet the L2 CRL.

“Level two certification (if applicable):

Sniper knee plate must be aligned with the ridges on the shin”

Based on this, the sniper knee would need to be removed and re aligned. Whilst you’re doing this, we would suggest keeping an eye on angle when viewed from the sides AND the front.

Whilst the sniper knee can certainly be a pain, we’re confident that you can nail this with your second attempt. :-)

I'll start working on it.

Thank you, sir!

Hi Miguel, and thank you for your ANH-Stunt EI application.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All required submission photos have been posted, and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantryman. On behalf of the Deployment team, congratulations! :jc_doublethumbup:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Firstly, thank you for replacing the thermal detonator screws with the required pan head, slotted screws.

Starting from the top, the SDS battle spec helmets include the separate, gloss plastic Vocoder. We would suggest a coat of satin black paint to make this more in keeping with the screen used helmets.

Also, your Hovi Tip mesh is pushed very far back. You should bring these towards the front, as per the reference photo below.

Moving down a little further, we would suggest reducing the gap between your forearms and hand guards (gloves) by lowering them a little. At the moment, there is quite a large gap at the wrist end.

The paintwork on your ab buttons look really nice. If you want to go all out for your kit, you could look at reducing the size of your smaller ab buttons.

Moving to the back, you've done a great job with the overall alignment and fitting. The calve fastenings, however, look like they could be improved. At the moment, the cover strips seem to be some way away from the armour, leaving what appears to be a noticeable gap.

We have a couple of things to mention on your blaster. Whilst you've done a good job of constructing it, and it will not hold up your application, the 3D print lines appear to be very visible. Some additional sanding, prepping and painting could help to give this a more believable look.

You are also missing the knurling pattern on the rear sight. If you are planning to use this blaster for Centurion, at minimum we would ask that you add the knurling.

Centurion Suggestions:
In this section we prepare you the best we can for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here.

Thank you for taking a second go at your sniper knee. We appreciate your efforts and will not let this stop your EIB approval on this occasion. Whilst it is certainly a step in the right direction, we would ask to see this more aligned with your shin armour if you choose to apply for Centurion.

Congratulations again on achieving your EIB. Back to your post, Trooper. :salute:
