REPORT:

Trooper Jerry, Trooper Q and Wrangler Marie arrived early in the Imperial shuttle that had picked us up from the outer rim (southern sector), where we had been flying the flag for the Empire in the morning. We found the brother of the groom to see if he had any information about what was going to happen and as to what was required of us. He informed us that the groom would soon arrive and he would give us the programme of events. Trooper Stuart arrived and we preceded to erect our change room at the back of the venue, at this time Stuart had met with the groom and extracted our fee and got all the info as what was going to happen. Trooper Ben then arrived and we where all given some bottled water while we waited to get changed.

We had a quick walk through of the venue and the order of ceremonies then it was back to the change tent to get ready, this took no time at all as Stuart was in his TK. With us all looking resplendent in our mostly glistening white we paused in the shade for some photos before proceeding to line the aisle waiting for the bride. She duly arrived and proceeded up the aisle to the sound of the Imperial March. We were concerned that during the vows she promised to protect her new husband from the Dark Side, which got her some glares from the Troopers.

The Celebrant was most impressed by us. She along with most of the guests wanted photos, so we stayed and were even included in some of the official wedding photos. One young Flower Girl was so taken by Trooper Stuart she held his hand and wouldn’t let go, so he had to escort her to the area for the official family photo. He definitely wasn’t a grumpy Trooper for her, she had him in the palm of her tiny hands. He made up for it on everyone else though.

At the end of the ceremony it was noticed that a rebel spy drone was in operation, so we shot it down.

After all the photos were taken we were relieved of duty and processed back to the change tent to de-kit and have a refreshing drink before returning to our respective homes by Imperial transport or shuttle.
