The photo with the primer looks good so far. The only thing I would suggest, is aligning the counter to make it parallel to the main receiver barrel.

Curious to see this blaster with black paint... :)

Thanks Tino, yeah I'm not sure what happened with that. I think I could re-drill my second hole to straighten it or I could slightly tweak the bracket. I'll have to give it a look and see which one would be easier to do.

So all prepped for for the hammered coat tomorrow. Then the gloss finish on the grip. Got the satin coat down on the counter, scope and rail. I also decided to go ahead repaint the rubies I was working on for them young future recruits at events.4840058e8b2277540ee93761da104057.jpg30441c566ad0ff5d0c38c6e0121333cb.jpgcadb00048edbc28c522c8d5d9f65223e.jpgb2d60fd0c42680a343559aca1d12e04e.jpgf2519255e39b3ad61a97e638ce27489c.jpg

So I got the hammered coat on and it is looking much better. It hides some of the small imperfections, but sort of accents some of the bigger ones. However this is okay by me as there is always some of those especially when it isn't new. Straightened out the counter and that is looking pretty good.f66465b8f1250b4b8bc396da63848ed2.jpge9520787ac82a4fd3d9f234868faf9b4.jpg43115bea5c4d441a9abb48cab0e1fb09.jpg5a9ec0e2d14520f672428f2dcd358e61.jpg

So got the black on. Still deciding on how to do the silver/aluminium parts. Rattle can of silver rustoleum or dry brush some silver acrylic.f13c81603d50cf56c120201aae877c0a.jpg8973311c1828658031db3388819be6fa.jpg47e254254645cd6948852826af97de0e.jpg371d862d35ee35b88e797bc10a36e51b.jpgc826169b07cab8925a6ff750d5e9c52d.jpg

Nice. Hammer finish is looking good.  For the silver parts, there are some great brush on metal paints from Mr Hobby or Tamiya. After drying they can be buffed a bit and look like metal. One idea to consider.

So I found that a bit of silver and grey made a decent enough aluminium finish I decided to dry brush it.c3aa637366286ac6b4980b51e7e1c5be.jpge4637c375ba85f074e14d307832cf838.jpg

Impressive! The silver dry brush applocation came out great. The bolt has that real metal look to it.
Thanks Brian, yeah I wasn't sure how much to add to it, but it seems I got it just right or close enough.
