bec12380[TK]
My first build is so close to being complete!! I have a few adjustments to make so that wearing the armor is both accurate and comfortable to move in. I’m using the bracket system to attach the torso pieces. It seems that these might be an issue at the point of connection between back and kidney plate. What adjustments can I make to lessen the extra space I have in the back plate? (It’s hard to see because of the grey wall behind me, but I could store a lunch in that space between my back and the back plate!!) tydirium1[TK]
Looks like your shim is too big for the kidney plate. If you take a couple inches off both sides it will tighten everything up for you. If you are a little big in front then your armor is going to fit very snug around the middle. That's ok. You could also look into bringing the chest and back closer together at the shoulders. A combination of both will leave room for a snack, not a whole lunch. You will have to experiment with it a little before making your cuts, so you don't cut too much.
bec12380[TK]
Thanks! I’ll play with the shims and see what I can come up with. Just a snack will do!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
