TK11874 Requesting ANH Stunt EIB status (RS) [800]

Recommended Posts

Hi, I would like to have my kit assessed for EIB status, thanks in advance for your time.

i think I have all the correct photos as per the check sheet, but I have had issues getting the larger size photos. Please let me know if these will be ok as I only have an iPad which is not cooperating with Flickr and photobucket.

Nice work, you look to be missing a few photos, if you are not aware you need to upload them to an online photo host like Imgur, Flickr and so on. Once uploaded you can copy the direct links to your individual photos into your application.

Good luck

Hi Q,

I’m struggling with bad internet connection and my iPad just turned off and I lost all my photos, I’m just re-adding them now. I had to download another app to use the Flickr URL because my iPad wouldn’t copy the link, I’m not sure if there is a solution?

Hey Stephen,

thanks for for that but I have it right next to me with multiple checks because I have had to add the photos twice.

i should have them all done soon fingers crossed.

Great job, Matt. Looks like a good fit on you. (Great job on the shims, btw). :-)

Just a little thing I’d mention. Based on previous applications, you might be asked about the following:

• reasonably big gap at wrist end of forearm - could possibly lower biceps a tad to drop the arms and even the gaps.

Easy change if needed. :-)

Superb build, Matt. Can’t see you having any trouble getting through EIB - then on to Centurion.

Best wishes,

Dan

Hi Dan,

I made some adjustments to the arms and reduced the wrist/ forearm /elbow/ bicep gap. I updated the photos to show this and I think it looks much better.

Hi Ian,

thanks for that, no one can tell you how much time and effort goes into these kits until you do it for yourself.

To be 100% honest the whole kit is far more comfortable with the belt down low, all I did for the EIB application was tighten the belt up which raised it so it looks like all of the approved EIB applications of past. If I wear the belt up higher and if I tighten it up it pushes the return edge of the top of the butt plate and bottom of the kidney plate into my spine.

Hi Tony and Andrew,

i have added my 501st profile link twice as it came up with a different number in the URL.

Please let let me know if it doesn’t work or if it’s ok.

Thanks for your time

Matt

Hi Matt, welcome and thank you for your EIB application. Let's take a look.
CRL and EIB Application Requirements:
Looks like all the required submission photos have been posted and your armor displays all necessary element as set out in the level 2 CRL. Andrew and I would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry, congratulations. You are trooper #800.:salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:
In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Beautiful job on your RS armor Matthew and loving the TDK blaster, very nice.

Centurion Suggestions:
In this section we prepare you the best we can for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. At this time we don't see anything  that would hold yo back from directly applying to L3. Thank you for a nice clean build and application :jc_doublethumbup:

That’s “Awesome”, thanks for your time Tony and Andrew in assessing my kit and my only regret is that I didn’t get involved with the 501st sooner. I actually updated the details at the top and didn’t see the EIB approval at first.

The whole journey so far from build to pre approval, garrison approval to EIB has been exciting and a huge learning curve where I have learnt new skills and found a group of awesome people with the same interest.

I would like like to thank everyone that’s provided build advice and support along the way as I couldn’t have done it without their help.

”800” what an awesome trooper number to have I actually can’t believe I made it to EIB considering 12 months ago I was thinking what have I got myself into.

Thanks again and see you all on the dark side

Matt
