Harbinger[IPM]
Anyone tried using Flex Seal instead of Plastidip on lining a helmet? Seems like it might be more durable. There's also Rustoleum's version: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Rust-Oleum-Stops-Rust-12-oz-LeakSeal-Black-Spray-265494/203165631
catalystofchaos[501st]
I have not tried but I used truck boot liner from Halfords (UK) worked great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Frank75139[501st]
I’ve used flex seal on home projects and it’s never held up like the commercials claim. With that being said the plastidip has been super durable for me. I’ve had stuck adhesive Velcro on several times and removed it and nothing peeled off. I believe they are similar products.
catalystofchaos[501st]
The truck bed liner is not a rubbery finish like plasti-dip. There’s a few threads on here about this as I researched a fair bit when o did mine. Don’t recall anyone using flex seal though. Plastidip and truck bed liner seemed favourites. I went with what was easier to get hold of in UK. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
