Helmet lining - flex seal?

Recommended Posts

Anyone tried using Flex Seal instead of Plastidip on lining a helmet? Seems like it might be more durable.

There's also Rustoleum's version:

I’ve used flex seal on home projects and it’s never held up like the commercials claim. With that being said the plastidip has been super durable for me. I’ve had stuck adhesive Velcro on several times and removed it and nothing peeled off.

The truck bed liner is not a rubbery finish like plasti-dip. There’s a few threads on here about this as I researched a fair bit when o did mine. Don’t recall anyone using flex seal though. Plastidip and truck bed liner seemed favourites. I went with what was easier to get hold of in UK.
