I'm not 100% sure how well this will fly for centurion.  I can reset the nylon back a bit further and reglue.  Opinions?

It doesn't look terrible, but I would make some adjustments to that attachment, especially for Centurion.  The ab is shifting down from your kidney, and ideally, those should line up at the top like in the photo below:

Do you have a tab system installed in the ab/kidney?  If not, it's a wonderful way to keep the kidney and ab lined up.  Here is a pic of a tab I installed in a kit I built for a garrison friend.  It's a thin sheet of black styrene glued to the kidney with e6000.  Attached to the ab are two 1" squares of scrap ABS, with a rectangle piece of ABS attached on top of them.  This makes a tab slot.  The black sheet slides into the slot and keeps the kidney and ab locked into place.

Finally got around to tightening the right ab strap.

I merely added more glue to the strap taking out the slack in it.

Yes I should be wearing my undersuit but it's in the space cleaners and if that's the only gap there with my normal clothes I think that gap will be just fine for centeruion.

Update on Centurion approval:

Only one minor correction necessary:

Darn left drop box did not stay aligned.

UZHVEMd.jpg     4sHWsgW.jpg?1

Added some additional E6000 behind the drop box to keep it in place as well as more on the elastic behind the belt.  Clamped and drying.

Lined my tote as I have a troop that I have a fairly long drive to coming up and I wanted to keep everything fairly shiney.

I started with a twin size mattress pad/cover and cut all the elastic from it that keeps it on the mattress

I than draped the mattress pad like a "U" covering the back, bottom and front of the tote and cut to size.

igzya01TIK82YThpzUUnT7PloReBYz5uJ3PdFT4s

Next I stitched the sides that I cut so that the pad would stay together and not unravel

6hqsi6Gt3aUtKhfF3baqRM8OC1USNeB9OqPNbBJteTHIZWWDleQ9_rRNi6YeE2gvlYiUUs27-jVuG9O1

Next I laid the pad over the fabric I choose, folded the fabric over the pad and pinned in place

I did this on all four sides

CG0cc1Rmd2O1mRU7JhsFHBszjzaSH3hgBSGsnGZJ

With it pinned I was ready to sew!

Put the good side up and begin to stitch my fabric to the pad

When I got to a corner I simply made sure the needle was down, raised the foot, turned the fabric and put the foot back down

and the final result

5bjhgCTCqgArxH6La8r7FCcDcKMSN4LP2fNJesBA

I repeated for the cutting and sewing for the sides.  The sides just hand down and are not attached to the other fabric part.

Once I had everything sewed I clamped the pieces to the top of the bin to determine where to put my pop snaps at

1lYZpIJsozZb2bSMG32GMXOoqYj3txmMwkSPLMRK

I did four snaps on the back and front and two on each side.  I super glued the male snaps directly to the tote, and lined up where I need to put the holes in the fabric.

Very pleased with how it all came together!

That bin liner looks amazing!  Great work.

Make sure that the black doesn't bleed on to your armor.  You can test by laying some scrap ABS on it for a day or so.  I have been shocked at what some fabrics can do to armor.  Those purple stains are the worst!

Thank you!  Its definitely been in there for a week or so now.  I finally got around to posting the work pics.  So far no bleed.  I'm going to give the liner a wash just to ensure it sets the color though.

With it pinned I was ready to sew!

Put the good side up and begin to stitch my fabric to the pad

When I got to a corner I simply made sure the needle was down, raised the foot, turned the fabric and put the foot back down

I repeated for the cutting and sewing for the sides.  The sides just hand down and are not attached to the other fabric part.

Once I had everything sewed I clamped the pieces to the top of the bin to determine where to put my pop snaps at

I did four snaps on the back and front and two on each side.  I super glued the male snaps directly to the tote, and lined up where I need to put the holes in the fabric.

Update on Centurion approval:

Only one minor correction necessary:

Darn left drop box did not stay aligned.

Added some additional E6000 behind the drop box to keep it in place as well as more on the elastic behind the belt.  Clamped and drying.

Made it to centurion!

A few minor suggestions to really make my kit look better which was to give the hovi mic tip lines a bit more extension.

Also to raise my brow trim a tad, but that may or may not happen....we will have to see B)

Oh my quite a bit actually....Been assisting a few cadets in my local garrison on getting there costumes together and up to EIB/Centurion.  Helping one get a shadow trooper assembled.  Than working on my next costume I want to do as well.

Other than that working on some prop projects that I hope to role out to everyone in the coming months, and building a new house.  Plus my day job which I've taken on new responsibilities and have been traveling a lot lately.  Too bad my Husky tote won't fit as a carry on, other wise I'd bring it with me and troop the country.

Whats up with you TK 71627?

I’m actually taking it easy for right now. Work has me quite busy !!!
I’m still IMPROVING my armor satisfaction. I’m finishing my lenses. Then I need to work on improving my thighs, then my shoulder bridges. I finally finished my Husky and I am 95% satisfied with the outcome.
We are going to our 1st of many hospital troops tomorrow !
