Dan, thanks mate

It’s all down to you mate, I was thinking about it, saw your post and thought why not :)

I think we are both doing clearance and hopefully EIB together.

Good luck also mate :)

Brilliant! Fingers crossed for both of us then. ;-)

You never know - we might end up at the same induction event. :)

I checked in on your build from time to time so I know you did tremendous amount of work making the armor fit you and for that I salut you :salute:

I have a few suggestions:

Ab button plates seem to be a tad big

Drop boxes (Centurion in mind) are aligned to end of the ammo belt at some pics and not at others, some glue needed perhaps?

Could also be my eyes diceiving and if so please take no notice of me:smiley-sw013:

I think your first pic is Epic...you scroll down and...a stormtrooper emerges - says it all :salute:

Looks great!

Only thing I have to add (and this isn't an EIB or Centurion requirement), is you may want to take a lighter or heat sealing iron to melt the ends of your elastics on your brackets.  When you heat them up, it'll prevent fraying (and premature replacement).  Takes just a few seconds and leaves a clean edge.

Good luck, trooper!

Thanks for your kind words and looking in on my build thread, I agree re the drop boxes.... I need to glue them.... keep forgetting..... it’s my age .... lol

The the ab buttons, just looked at them and yeah .... they seem a tad big, the thing is I replaced the previous ones because they were too small ..... perhaps it will be third time lucky :)

Hi Christine, thanks for your advice, I actually spent this afternoon seeing them all by hand to stop them from fraying.... I was doing that when you posted in my build thread earlier..... so my elastic is no longer fraying .... oh if I were to take a lighter to them I’d likely burn a hole in the armour .... I’m bad enough with s heat gun .... lol

Didn’t realise the heat sealing iron would do it.... will have a try on some spare elastic :) and then .... well might as well do that as well :)

Since I am working on upgrading my ANH as well, can I butt i and ask a question. I get that the CRL says to use a solid head rivet for the ammo pack. Does it matter how it looks on the inside since you are asking for the pic?

No it doesn't matter what it looks like on the inside. We're just confirming the correct rivets are being used. Cap (either type) or split head rivets are acceptable.

  • ukswrath changed the title to TK-14655 Requesting EIB status ANH Stunt (RS) [779]

Hey Stephen thank you for your EIB application.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All submission photos have been posted. Beautiful looking RS armor you have there :jc_doublethumbup: Looks like are required submission photos are present, Andrew and I are very please to say your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Congratulations Trooper!     :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. We have nothing to add here except for please remove the pipe ID info lol.

Centurion Suggestions:

Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. At this time We have nothing to add. Congrats again and hope to see you at Centurion. :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:

Wow, thank you Tony and Andrew , that’s amazing. I am glad you, the experts, like my armour.

I will remove the lettering on the TD and apply for Centurion.

I really could not of achieved this without the help, support, advice and encouragement from both the UKG and FISD, I can never thank, all the people who have helped me, enough... you are all truly amazing people....

Troopers helping troopers really sums this up

Thank you

Stephen
