DSG TROOP REPORT

EVENT: Bricktober Day 2

LOCATION: Curtin Stadium, Kent St, Bentley

DATE: 8th October 2017

TIME: 9.00am-3.30pm

LANDSCAPE/WEATHER: Indoors

TROOPERS:
TK10469 - Ben
TK85421 - Q
ID13310 - Liz
TK59226 - Jerry

Wrangler: Marie

REPORT: Liz and Q arrived early with Ben with Jerry and Marie arriving soon after. The change area was the same as day 1 so it was in and get kitted up ASAP. Q and Liz went out to the hall with their Lego Heads on to start with which went down very well with the younglings. So it was Ben and Jerry having photos on one side of the hall and the Lego heads on the other, this went on for quite some time until the fire alarm went off and the hall had to be cleared until the Fire Department gave the all clear. Even through we had to go outside the photos did not stop, it was business as usual, apart from Ben who was just getting out of his kit for a break when the alarm went off, he grabbed his phone and keys and made a "B" line for the fire escape. We did not find out what had set the alarm off be we suspect that it was the sausage sizzle being to close to the front doors.

The all clear was given so it was back inside and back down to business, well back to the change room for a drink and a snack, (sausage sizzle and a coke). It was decided that from now on all troops we will keep a note of how many hot dogs each trooper has with a grand total at the end of the year. After lunch Ben and Liz changed and Ben went on a mission to get photos of Lego for some inspiration and Liz did some wrangling. We went back to the hall to do more of what we do, being awesome.

At about 3 pm it starting to quieten down so it was time to kit down and say farewell to Bricktober 2017, see you all again next year.

Great pictures! Looked to be a really fun time; I'm sure the lego heads were a blast - Ooooh, couldn't help noticing the electronically powered E-11 Blasters, nice!

Thanks mate, we do like our lights and sounds down under, even the lego blaster has them :D
