I ordered a separate canvas belt and ammo ABS strip and made a new belt (without the drop boxes and holster as per the CRL). I epoxied two bent 1" aluminum bars to the back of the pouches (sort of like a larger version of the TK canister) so it's just easy on/off. I attached some velcro so as not to scratch the armor.
