Tonight and yesterday, I have glued the rest of the right forearm, tomorrow maybe arrive 20 new magnet stronger (8kg) and I can start to glued fast than now, during the wait, I've start to build the thermal detonator, and for this I've follow the tutorial of the facebook page of TM(It's really good) and I've made a first cut at the belt but, need the size for the four cuts at 45 on the angle, ammo pack, and the sniper knee I've to look better the reference to cut more

RememberĀ to attach the ammo belt to your canvas belt using the middle rivet first, then attach it to your abdomen and mark out the end rivets to prevent popping the rivets

to prevent the ammo belt from getting too tense, you mean? I have seen on your photo, which is expanse, the ammo belt must have the shape of two small curves, correct? paul, can you tell me, the distance of the rivets, from the side edge (from the edge to the center of the hole)? Thx for help

Tonight I cut the strings with the right measurements, with the references Paul has given me today, is now ready to be drilled and fastened to the belt.

The forearm has some problems, unfortunately I'm working with magnets little powerful, and I had to use them superimposed on each other to increase the effect, I tried to overcome this problem by using spring clamps but they did not have the same effectiveness, even because of the too large size, I hope to arrive after tomorrow the 20 magnets of 8kg strength.

P.S. It's great to work in a hardware store and see that the only thing that does not come from suppliers is my magnets

I have used replacements to magnets in the past, clamps and tape will work just as well if you need to keep plodding along.

Ā

For a punch if you have a small piece of pipe or a brass fitting you could grind down the sides to a sharp edge and use this to punch holes, it has worked for me in the past when I couldn't find my punch. A video which gives you the general idea

I tried to close my forearms with the tape and the clamps, but I did not like the result, because the forearms are too tight to pinch them so well, for the belt, I miss the punch to close the rivets, not to do the holes, those are already ready, the problem I've had is that the clamp to close them is too short and does not reach the center of the ammo belt

Today I've glued the bridges on my chest, I chose to stick 4 ribs, it's better for my size, unfortunately the work with single cap rivets is gone bad, the tool I bought to close them is a crap, and I've ruined everyone, now I'm in great trouble, because I had only one stock. For the time being, with other work, I have to get new boots from England, so I can continue to cut the shins, as soon as I finish to glue the last pieces of my arms, I start with my thighs, and with the arms fastenings of the torso

dry and clean arms, dry and clean the chest bridges, now I focus on my thighs, to figure out if I can tighten a strip, I'm 25mm now, but I'm afraid that by my great feet I will have to stay that, because with the shins I will labor, to put the boots inside the shins

Hi Tony,
Looks like youā€™re making great progress. Thatā€™s some good looking armour. :-)

If I may, you might want to watch those sharp edges. I had a couple on my suit and they can catch on your undersuit. Or worse, on your skin.
