It was thought that the shoulder bells would be red from this earlier photo but it may just be a red reflection as you can make out the FO emblem on the bells. The weapons still appears to be more of a mallet though so there could be a couple of versions.

A difference from this photo and preliminary sketches is we don't see the black markings on the helmet in the video, but it does look like some of the armor may be black (between backplate and chest)

Interesting to note that there's a hengstler from the F-11D attached to the handle. Now which version of the hengstler, the normal one, or the upscaled? Because it makes a very good reference to figure out the scale of this hammer.

The black on the helmet is on the opposite side in the picture. See how a line of black protrudes from the black line along the bottom at the edge of the helmet.

I had missed that, appears the image is rotated too so should be on the right side, II O reversed as is the TD black end cap

Better photo from the pinball game, can see now the trooper has definitely got the claw weapon

Not sure what it is, but I don't like the look of it as the sleek lines and weapons I normally associate with a stormtrooper are lost with what looks like a brutal weapon designed to rip and crush.

 

Guess we need to see it in action.

If you look at the concept arts posted above too, you'll notice there will be force fields added between the "blades". So this weapon might actually be more of a stun weapon like the riot control staff.
