Twenin[TK]
Hi guys, I got my RS KIT about a month ago and started working on it here and there. I started on my helmet first. My question(s) are essentially this... How much can I trim on the bottom. I feel like I've trimmed a lot, but I'm still having a tight fit getting my head in. Or should I re drill my holes on my face plate, it looks like I might have a 3/8th inch gap between the face and bucket.
gmrhodes13[Staff]
Are you putting it on sideways?, they don't go on straight, turn sideways, get it over your nose then twist straight.
Twenin[TK]
Yes I am, I just wanted to make sure I was putting it on properly. Wasn't sure it was supposed to be that tight, thanks!

You should have a nice rounded cut instead of the sharp angle under the chin, but you might get away with it once the rubber trim has been fitted.
