Bicep issues

I have having trouble with fitting my bicep pieces. I have actually had them get stuck on me once. Does anyone have a good tutorial on how to resize them or add some shims to widen them

Also on the inside there is that piece that sticks straight up, is that ok to shorten, it poke me sometimes in the under arm

Also when test fitting the armor is there any piece I should start with and go from there

Hi, any chance you can send us photos of what you are talking to us about?

Here are a few I could find on my phone
I had to basically widen the gap between each one by about an inch to roughly get it to fit decent I would rather have a little more room for maneuverability in the biceps

The 2nd picture shows the part that is sticking up.

3rd photo shows how off round it is in order for it to fit me

Might need to remove all returns and hot bath them too

I did for mine and it made a world of difference

Cut the part down that's poking You,Use wider cover strips and reshape(if needed)with water near boiling temp. When You get the perfect

shape,immediately dunk in cold water.

You are on the right track.  BWDC is right.  You can remove the returns.

The CRLs for the TK (Stormtrooper armor) tell you what you must have to get the armor approved for the 501st.  The tutorials will tell you how to do it.  Just remember that you want enough room to slide your hand through the bicep then through the fore arm.

For a tutorial there are a number of them in the FISD forum.  Look up UKswrath.  He has a great one.  There are also a great series of build videos on YouTube.  Trooperbay and Armor Building with TK1636, are the videos I watched a few times to get my self going.  Then I also got with the local Squad.  Where I live it is Makaze.

Another thought, you can always cut a little and check your fit.  If you cut too much don't panic.  Fixes can be made.  Just don't throw away your scraps.  Good luck and have fun.  You are a member of a very large community of people willing to help.
