Thank you for your consideration...

This is my first build (with hopefully many more to come) & I have been having a blast trooping in it.

Many thanks to all those who contribute to FISD to help get us rookies through the build process and into the ranks of the 501st!

Not an EIB issue but it looks like you're sniper wants to catch. If that happens a block of upholstery foam in the front of the shin and/or behind the thigh knee will help hold the pieces away from each other and stop it catching.

For more accuracy you'll also want to swap out the tip mesh for something a bit less dense.

But in all an excellent looking build, love the DLT.

Good luck trooper.

Thank you for the comments, they are much appreciated! I think the angle of the photos make the sniper knee look like more of an issue than it really is. There is actually more clearance below the thigh than it appears. I also have a block of foam behind the knee, like you suggested... it worked wonders! Did a parade a few weeks back and all the parts worked well together... only problem to report was a blister =)

...and by the way, those power cylinders on my E-11 are your design!

Hey Kyle, thank you for your EI application.
CRL and EIB Application Requirements:
All the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome and congratulations!   :salute:. Great job on your build  :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:
In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Since this section is used to enhance to overall look of your armor we have a few requests.

Starting with the helmet. It appears your eye sockets could stand to have a bit more return edge removed. Not a huge deal but it would make the area a bit cleaner.

Hovi tip screen mesh is too fine. We're suggesting you replace them with mesh that's more accurate. There are several threads and build sections that discuss this and where to get the material.

Vcoder paint lines soft and not well defined. As you've done with your frown the Vcoder paint lines could also stand to be cleaned up.

Shoulder Bell gap to Chest and Back plates. Though very minor, strap adjustment may be needed to reduce the gap even further. There's probably not much you can do on the lower Bell edge however, it does look like you can tighten up the upper strap.

The upper edge of the waist belt should reside at or just below the lowest ab buttons. To do this may require re-positioning of the mounts.

Centurion Suggestions: None

That's it. Excellent job on your build, hope to see you at Centurion.   :jc_doublethumbup:
