Great job on that build, Richard, and I hope to see your submission for level 3 after your EIB approval!  One small thing I noticed is that you will probably need to remove the last of the return edges on the "bump" of your forearm for Centurion (see photo).  This is a really easy fix.  Also, you may want to change out the TD screws for the correct "pan-head" type.  I can shoot you a set of these (no charge) if you pay postage.  PM me if interested.

It won't affect your submission, but I recommend rounding out the bottoms of your TD clips and adding a strip of Velcro (the fuzzy side) to the backs of them.  This will help keep them from scratching your armor.

Nice job on those ab/kidney connections!!

Thanks some of these pics I took over a month ago when I was going to sub for EIb. Had a few things come up and I have since made adjustments. TD I did add Velcro soft side on the clips. Thanks for that insight though :). I pm you about the screws

Hey Richard, thank you for your patience and EIB application, let's get started.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:
All the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome and congratulations!   :salute:.

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:
In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. Since this section is used to enhance to overall look of your armor we have a few requests.

1) Since you've applied for Stunt the frown should extend past the last tooth as seen in the reference photo below. A little paint touch up should do the trick.

2) Shoulder Bell gap to Chest and Back plates excessive. An adjustment needed to reduce the gap. That said, there may not be much you can do except replace them. The AP armor is a bit small for you unfortunately. RT-mod sells armor for larger troopers that my fit your build a bit better.

2) Back plate gap. We noticed you have no straps holding your chest plate down which may also be effecting how the back plate is positioned, which appears to be a few inches off your back. Neither area is a deal breaker but attaching straps from the ab to the chest may have a two part effect, pulling down the chest plate resulting in pulling in on the back plate. Another option would be to shorten just the shoulder to chest plate straps.

3) Left forearm to bicep gap greater than the right side. Not a huge deal but we suggest you make a minor adjustment here to even out both sides.

4) Vertical ab button plate too wide. The plate should reside inside the raised ab section as seen in the following reference photo.

5) Ammo belt to cloth belt alignment. The 45 degree ammo belt corners should line up with the outer edge of the cloth belt. Not sure if your's is fixable being you don't have much material to work with. As Andrew and I say accuracy is always up to you the trooper. Though not a requirement, to make this area accurate you may have to replace the ammo belt.

6) Sniper knee return edge could use a little trimming. Not a big deal but the return edge on the right side of the sniper could stand to be tapered back so that is follows the shin armor line a bit closer.

7) Shin to thigh gap. You may want to consider trimming the shin shorter or raising the thighs if possible. This should help eliminate any unwanted pinching or armor breakage.

Couldn't pass up commenting on the cute droid. Sad thing it doesn't appear to be afraid of you, unless it doesn't know your there lol

8) We're suggesting you trim both lower thighs to match, giving the area a nice uniform look.

9) Minor back to kidney gap. There should be minimal gap here. A slight strap adjustment should fix this.

Centurion Suggestions:
In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here.

1) Drop box alignment. The CRL states: For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box.

Prior to submitting for Centurion you'll need to fix this area. The most common solution is adhering the drop box strap to the waist belt material.

That's it. Excellent job, hope to see you at Centurion.   :jc_doublethumbup:
