Hopefully all good to go

To be honest, I'm over the moon getting the sides to close up so much.

Was wondering if I could submit these for Centurion after I've cleared EIB

Thoughts guys

Thanks

Will.

Hi Guys

FYI

I also changed my belt, it got way to long. Ended up with a 4" overlap.

Got a more screen accurate one from Clive at ISD

Cheers

Will.

Phenomenal job on those side shims, Will!   I wish you had  taken photos of the process you did to achieve that.  They would certainly help those who need to do that for EIB (and Centurion for that matter).  Looking SHARP, and I look forward to welcoming you to level 2!

Hey Will Thank you for your EI application. It's been long awaited, so lets get started.

CRL and EIB Application Requirements:

All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for Expert Infantry. Welcome to the rank trooper!      :salute:

Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:

In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections.

You my friend are a champion in the truest sense. Doing the hard yards and having the patience to drop the weight so you could look fabulous in your armour is a tall order and you stepped up. You must be very proud of that accomplishment alone, and here you are now an Expert infantryman. :th_AnimatedBravoSmiley:

We noticed that some of your cover strips, particularly on the Biceps and one of your thighs look a little long and could be trimmed back so they don't protrude past the edge of the armour pieces they are attached to.

Centurion Suggestions:

Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. This is also where we try and get you in the best possible position for a successful Centurion application.

Overall, this is a nice clean build Will, well done. The only standout correction would be the drop box alignment to meet the CRL

For level three certification (if applicable):

  • Drop boxes are vertically aligned with the end of the ammo belt with minimal gap between belt and box.

Yours seem to move around a little so perhaps a dab of glue or adhesive Velcro so they always stay aligned with th ends is all it would need.

Well mate, you got this far and Tony and I see no reason why you shouldn't go all the way.

Go over the Centurion CRL and photo check list to make sure you have everything you need, and shoot for a nice clean Centurion application.

Congratulations yet again. :jc_doublethumbup:

Thanks guys

One happy bunny  :peace: i'll see what i can do regarding the cover strips mentioned, and post some better pics.

i'll also apply a dot of glue behind the drop box elastic  :duim:  to keep then in place.

a big thank you for your guidance, once iv'e  made the adjustments i'll head over to the Centurion section.  :jc_doublethumbup:

Many thanks

Will.
