gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted February 15, 2017 Report Share Posted February 15, 2017 Really you would want to sand the whole area with some wet and dry sandpaper, I would do it with water and use a 400 grit paper, or you could start with a little rougher paper around a 240 grit then go over again with 400 grit. You may find that it just keeps peeling and you may have to sand off all of the paint, it's seems rustoleum is quite soft. I do find you need to prep the plastic really well before applying paint, make sure you scuff it all with sandpaper before applying paint. I used an automotive acrylic paint and then cleared which I have found to be a lot stronger than rustoleum. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
