Kenny_a
I am converting an S&T sterling airsoft into a E11. For the scope rail i have found this steel part and gave it a bend and trim to use as rail. Now having the rail attached to my blaster, i seem to notice it might be a little too thick (4.5 millimeters or 0.17 inch) Is it acceptable? or do i really need another scope rail? Locitus[Admin]
It's on the thick side for sure. But we don't have guidelines for that and if someone says it's not acceptable, then they're stupid. Consider an upgrade, but no need to stress about it. You'll find a good replacement sometime in the future.
Kenny_a
Ok Thanks!<br> Until I find a better rail, I will use this one for the moment.
I'm Batman[501st]
Too thick, yes. Acceptable, yes. As Mathias said, no one is going to tell you to replace it, so if you're happy with it, then stick with it. By comparison, here's a couple of shots with a 3mm and a 1.6mm rail. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/32111-fisd-e-11-blaster-reference/page-2#entry414706
