Lego Shadow box

This is nerd level 1000!

I made a shadow box with my 501st costumes (in approval order) represented by lego minifigs. I found a nice background with the death star and star destroyer. Its hard to get a good picture with the reflection of the glass.

1. ANH stunt Stormtrooper

2. Heavy Weapons Trooper

3. Imperial Gunner

4. Shadow Stormtrooper

5. Bridge Crew

6. Reserve Tie Pilot

7. ESB Stormtrooper

8. Tie Pilot (working on it not approved yet)

9. Royal Guard (working on it not approved yet)

Most excellent! This ROCKS!!!

Thanks!

Very creative - what a neat idea. Thanks for sharing - I hope it inspires others to create similar artwork.

It was a fun little project. Hopefully we can see some more cool stuff.

You are a hero! I know we have to have a medal to give you somewhere around here.

Haha I look forward to it ;)

That is so cool Allan! I want a Lego HWT now!

Here is a little closer view of the HWT with pack. In the finished version I had to have the pack next to him since it was too thick for the shadow box.

Awesome idea, Allan!

Count me in!

Do it up Joseph!

That's an awesome--and adorable--idea!!  I have both of my kits in Lego minifigs but since I've only got two, they aren't enough to make a cool display like that lol.  And I don't have any money to build any more costumes!!!  :laugh1:  :laugh1:

I just caught a design flaw. You made it too small. You add a new costume every month. Where are you going to fit them all?

Touché Steve. I have room for 1 more. Guess I will need to stop at 10 :)

Wonderful idea. Made me go to my kids Star Wars collection and pull out all of their TK. Actually has none, only clones and sandtroopers. I was sad.

Haha, I didn't have any. Went on brick link and ebay to get the ones I wanted. We do crazy things in this hobby.

Why would you want to stop? Looks really cool, btw!

Very nice. I may have to steal this idea for my wife and I.

Thanks! By all means steal away haha

Ha! So cool. I may steal this idea, too, assuming I can find minifigs for my various costumes. :)

Thanks! I used bricklink and ebay to find all mine.
