Looking to connect with members in Canada

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have finally taken the plunge and am ordering a set of AP armour.  I live just outside of Toronto, Canada.  I have tried to get in contact with the 501st.ca to find out more about the process of joining with no success.  I am wondering if there are any local people here that can help with the process?  Thanks as always for any help. Feel free to post here or PM....

Blair.

Lots of members from Canada jump on the forums here so I'm sure someone will chime in.

Have you tried registering on their forum? http://501st.ca/forum/

Also the GML may be able to help you, email contact here: gml@501st.ca

Welcome, Blair, and congrats on ordering your AP kit!  Lots of GREAT Troopers up in the Great White North that can help you out.  I would definitely get in touch with the Capital City Garrison as Chad suggested, and you should also get in touch with Mark (Sylverbard) who is the Imperial Attache for that area.  He can be a great help in getting you started on your path to becoming a TK, and you can PM him here:  http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/user/19090-sylverbard/.

In the meantime, research your build threads (especially the AP ones), get all your supplies in place for when Big Brown Box day arrives, (I have a thread here that will help:  http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31404-supply-list-for-your-tk-build/) and be sure to ask questions if you need to.

Also, be sure to check out the Advanced Tactics section, where you will see just how far you can take your build toward screen accuracy!  Here is a thread with more info.:  http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/35371-eib-and-centurion-what-do-these-terms-mean/

Actually I'm the attache for the capital city garrison, the OP is in the Canadian Garrison territory but I'll try to find that contact, I'm in a pharma class at the moment.

If you hit the Canadian garrisons website, they have an area for new potential members but only allow full members access. They have a Facebook group as well.

You're welcome to join the CCG forums, capitalcity501st.ca and we let anyone join , just reduced access to member zones.

Comradedave is the CG attache, send him a pm here , and I'd post in the 501st.ca forum for new folks and see when they may have armour parties coming up. Another excellent plan is to start volunteering as a handler at events. 501st.com has all the basic CRL info , we do too here at fisd, and plan on building to centurion out of the box...Just easier than upgrading and the AP kit is good for that.
