First, thanks for your service, Sebastian! Ā Like Mark suggested, I would go with the Doopydoos kit. Ā http://www.doopydoos.com/stormtrooper-e-11-complete-anh-e-11-blaster-kit-offer-2685-p.aspĀ Since it is sent from the UK and is in kit form, you should have no problems. Ā Be aware, though, that shipping can take up to 8 weeks (at least here to the states) and once you order it you will more than likely receive no further communication from them, even if you email them to ask a question. Ā You will receive it, though. Ā Just be prepared to hurry up and wait. Ā If you want to take it to the next level of realism, I highly suggest getting one of Tino's (T-Jay) E-11 finishing kits: Ā http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28444-fs-completion-sets-for-e-11-resin-kits-with-worldwide-insured-shipping-and-paypal/Ā He is actually located in Germany, and can get you one quickly.

Just curious (I've never been in the position of mailing prop weapons when I was in the service), but if you're US Military having it shipped to I assume a US Base, would it be subject to German customs if it's going through APO?Ā

Good question! Ā I wouldn't think so, but would be interested in finding out if anyone knows.

Sorry for the delay in responding back. One of two things I will state. I have a close relationship with those from customs as our jobs are very similiar, spoke with them over the phone yesterday and they said no I cannot have it sent here.

I also came across this recent article as well in regards to shipping to an APO.

Also I've watched a few videos and looked over a few forums and after watching I feel like I have the skills to build a doopydoo resin kit.

However I've read that some kits are sturdy while others are like a Chinese Tea cup very fragile. Is that a batch thing or is there away to make it sturdy to were it came handle being dropped?
