Quick0817 AP TK Stunt armor build thread

Recommended Posts

Been a busy day. So problem was I had some snaps with uneven placement causing my back to tilt upward to the left. I redid snap plates on back and chest to be even.

I redid bridge to be exactly same sizes and added two snaps for shoulder connections. I also added snaps from kidney to back.

Decided to test out what I have done so far. At this point still need to glue front shoulder straps back on. The crouch strap needs to be done and some belt tweaks. Not sure if I want to do the snaps to the ab or use velcro yet.

Richard, I would use the photo references available in the galleries at the top of the page. The look and cut of the frown is dependent on whether you are doing a hero or stunt TK.

stunt. Been looking at these and builds. Did you have a suggestion on something I need to do?

No, I was simply commenting on your last post that said....

I am concerned I'm trying to be too perfect on teeth and such and afraid to do any more. I don't want to cut too much off.

So, I was just trying to point you in the right direction, so that you didn't get the cutting wrong.

Turning the corner and headed to final items.

Here is cod to butt connection.

Plasti dip sprayed on. That was a challenge to cover and not have runs

Re glueing of shoulder "straps and bridge".

I boiled water to get more bend. I prefer that over hair dryer.

All that's left is fixing belt to not fall off. I did not do buttons to cod. Think about doing velcro.

Need the elastic for back shoulder bridge.

Then all things bucket!

Looking Good Trooper. Your belt needs to come up a little bit in the front. It should touch/overlap the button box slightly.

And yes, check the reference material and Centurion Applications. Great pics available for reference & comparison.
