TI-6143[TK]
What do you all think about assembling shins? Do you fully glue the first seam/cover strip? Then you have to flex/stretch it to put it on. That could put extra stress on the join. Or do you use velcro on the front and back seam/cover strip? gmrhodes13[Staff]
Correct, glue front cover strip and stretch open, some also glue an inside strip to give more support. I have not heard of anyone having issues with this method
russellr2d2[TK]
Glue and include an inside strip. Use E6000 because it stays flexible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

justjoseph63[Staff]
Some perfect information there, Scott. That particular join (front of the calf) gets more of a workout than any of the others because of the fact that it is bent every time you put it on. In some kits, like Anovos, the ABS is a bit more flexible, but I always slide my lower leg in rather than opening it up fully to attach it when getting suited up, then I put my boot on and secure it closed.
